Terms of Service

Last updated: July 6, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you (a parent or legal guardian) and Abacus & Ink. By creating an account you accept them. We’ve kept them short and in plain language on purpose.

1. What the service is

Abacus & Ink provides adaptive practice worksheets in math and English for children, with placement tests, automatic grading, and AI-generated feedback. It is a practice and enrichment tool — it is not a school, does not award credentials, and does not replace a teacher or a professional assessment of your child’s needs.

2. Accounts

3. Pricing

The service is currently free during early access. If we introduce paid plans, we will announce pricing clearly in advance, and you will only be charged if you actively choose a paid plan. We will never convert a free account into a paying one silently.

4. About AI-generated content

Worksheets and feedback are generated by an AI model. We’ve designed the system carefully, but AI can occasionally produce a question or explanation that is imperfect or wrong. The service is a practice aid, and its content should not be treated as infallible. If you spot a bad question, we’d genuinely like to hear about it.

5. Acceptable use

We may suspend accounts that violate these rules, and rate limits are enforced automatically.

6. Your content and ours

The service, its design, and its content belong to Abacus & Ink. Your child’s answers and learning history belong to you; you can have them deleted at any time as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Ending the agreement

You can stop using the service and request account deletion at any time by emailing deepkr216@gmail.com. We may close accounts that violate these terms or, with reasonable notice, discontinue the service.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (which, during free early access, is zero). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.

10. Changes

If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we’ll update the date above and notify account holders by email before the changes take effect.
